LangOps, or Language Operations, centralises language processes across an enterprise and places them upstream of the business processes.

Two organisations, one discipline
The Institute was founded by Arthur Wetzel, who also founded the LangOps Association. The two organisations have separate purposes and separate books.
The Association is a non-profit with open standards and a community. The Institute is a company that tests, certifies and advises. Association members get 20 % off its exams.
